RACES
Masters Racing Legends F1
The “atmo” F1s of the 70s and 80s, until those of 1985, mainly powered by the Ford Cosworth V8.
It's the star of the Grand Prix ! It offers you the chance to take a great leap back in time to the golden age of Formula 1. More specifically, you can relive the seventies and early eighties (up to 1985) to the sound of Ford Cosworth V8s in over twenty single-seaters from that era. Ford V8 DFV, Lotus 77 & 92, McLaren M29, MP4/1C, LigierJS21, Williams FW07B, Tyrrell 012 and other F1 cars of that generation whose cockpits still bear the names of those who took them to the top: Mansell, Jones, Andretti, Laffite, Rosberg, De Angelis, Alboreto et al.
F2 Classic InterSeries pre 79
Formula 2 single-seaters from the period 1967 to 1978 (1600 or 2000 cc engine).
The F2 Classic InterSeries celebrates the memory of the European championship, whose races between 1967 and 1978 the period chosen in particular for this tribute - were dominated by so many immense champions. As in F1, two separate races will bring together the March, Chevron, Ralt, Lotus and other Brabham cars of those great years, to which their current drivers devote an understandable passion. With a well-stocked grid, it will be possible to rediscover the bikes of drivers as emblematic of the category as Jarier, Arnoux, Giacomelli and others were.
F3 Classic InterSeries pre 85
The Formula 3 single-seaters of the 70s/80s (until 1984), a real springboard towards F1 !
There was a time when the French Formula 1 Grand Prix used to host a Formula 3 race as a curtain raiser. Logically, the KENNOL GP de France Historique is bringing that happy neighbourhood back to life. The grid will feature the F3 single-seaters of the 1970s and those that followed until 1984, just before the appearance of the first carbon hulls. The cockpits of some of these cars will feature famous names, reminding us that the F3 of this period saw the emergence of many future F1 stars: Ayrton Senna and Alain Prost topping the list !
Historic Formula Juniors
Formula Junior single-seaters, with front or rear engines of 1000 or 1100 cm3, from the period 1958 to 1963.
A universal category conceived in 1958, Formula Junior lived out its glory days until 1963, when it was replaced the following year by the new F3 and F2 classifications. During this brief period, all the future great champions revealed themselves at the wheel of these frail single-seaters, with 1000 or 1100 cm3 engines, notably designed in the workshops of Cooper, Lotus, Lola or Brabham. This category symbolised the rapid technical development of the era, in particular the switch from front to rear engines in all single-seaters of the time.
Masters Le Mans 80+
Group C cars from 1982 to 1993.
The Group C regulations were in force between 1982 and 1993 and resulted in the production of iconic cars that competed in the 24 Hours of Le Mans and the Sports Car World Endurance Championship. From the Porsche 956 and Lancia LC2 to the Porsche 962, and the arrival of manufacturers such as Jaguar, Mercedes-Benz, Nissan and Mazda, as well as numerous small independent teams, the Group C era is regarded as the golden age of endurance racing.
200 Km of GPFH
A 1h30 endurance race with GT & Sport Prototypes until the 2000s.
Another event with a delicious vintage atmosphere and a very eclectic line-up was the 200 Km of the GPFH, which brought together the finest GT and Sport Prototypes from the pre-2000 era. It's a chance for the public to take to the track and admire the iconic cars (Porsche 911, Ford GT 40, Dodge Viper, Sport2000, Debora...) that have made their mark on the history of international motor sport. The race takes place on Saturday late afternoon.
